Jessie says:

002_smallIn late September I was walking round Whitehaven Harbour when I saw this enormous jellyfish really close to the surface.

The photo’s a bit fuzzy but it looked like it was about 1 foot in diameter.  Does anyone know what it is?

Paul says:

This summer I was sea fishing between Fleswick and St Bees beach, and I suddenly felt like I was being watched.

I looked down and an otter was standing on the rocks just away from me, watching me.  I stayed really still and it went into the water.

Alyson says:

We often see porpoises at Barrowmouth Bay.  When it’s really calm and quiet, you see them.  One evening this summer we saw about a dozen all together in the bay.  It was an amazing sight.
