Looking After Your Coast

Detailed Plans

Entec plans now available to view

worked_final

Over the past 18 months, the National Trust has been working with local residents to develop a broad 'vision' for the Whitehaven coast.  A number of maps and plans were produced to showcase this vision and the basic elements of the design.  The next step was to take these ideas and to produce a set of much more detailed designs, plans that would show details such as what the seating would be like and where it would be positioned, the width and quality of the pathways through the area, what materials would be used etc, etc.  This detailed design process has now been carried out, by a company called Entec and the plans they have produced are available to view on the website.  Please click here to view the detailed designs.  If you have any comments that you would like to make regarding these designs please contact us here.
