Artist Julian Longcake worked with young people during the summer scheme. Julian's work explored the use of found objects and was ideal to get people exploring the coastline of south Whitehaven.

Julian went on to work with the women from the Woodhouse Family Advice Centre. The group found objects on the shore and constructed simple sculptural forms from this discarded material.

Julian explored drawing, conceptual and technical construction within the participatory programme.
