Sea Fishing Locations

The National Trust is currently trying to build up a reference map of all the locations that are used for sea fishing on the Whitehaven Coast and the local names for these fishing points to ensure that they are preserved as part of the local history of the area.  The first contribution to the project has been made by Mr Henry Scott of Kells who provided the map above that he drew up himself.  Click here to see a larger version of the map.  If you would be interested in adding some namers and locations please contact us  via the website
