The group of local volunteers working with the National Trust is growing in number. After removing redundant fencing around the candlestick area the volunteer group has been focussing on removing some of the rubbish dumped onto the coast over the years. The sea slopes above Saltom Pit proved to be slightly more of a challenge than expected but yielded a bumber crop of rubbish!
